Working in a big fancy giant studio with a 30-foot tall syke wall would be pretty amazing but expensive. Or just natural light with 10-foot windows bring in all the sunlight and city views would be awesome.
But in this super small space with just one or two lights, I’ve created what I think are some pretty amazing pictures. (check out the Studio Makeover 2017)
This photo of Chantal titled “Where is my Mind” because I was listening to that song when I was editing this set was not shot in a studio but outside, in my backyard, on the patio. Using a black sheet I bought from JoAnn’s fabric and a mirror. Later published to the PhotoVogue (Vogue.it) site.
Leilani (Instafamous) was shot in the garage with just a single overhead light octabox, a broken Ranger Quadra, and a dress she bought from the mall.

Like I just said, “imagination and creativity” when this was posted on DarkBeauty’s Facebook page, it got over 6.1k likes by far one of their most popular posts. This picture set still isn’t posted to the blog.
It also inspired a few talented artists.
Yeah! So, who needs a big fancy smancy studio? Because I’m doing fine with what I got.
