When I looked to see when I shot this, it was back in 2010. I thought “wow! that was three years ago.” It doesn’t feel like it. I called Maria up for two reasons, I was bored, and I wanted to test. Check out this blog post about testing, and how it helped me.
It was a few weeks after I sold my Canon 1ds Mark II and got the 5d Mark II  (a downgrade if you ask me) I also recently acquired two Pocket Wizards Plus II’s so I wanted to try out some off camera lighting using my Canon Speedlights. So I picked her up and headed out to El Mirage CA. Although it was pretty hot and somewhat windy, we had a blast.
