A LOT of laughs and silliness went on while shooting M. I’m pretty sure our friend, Mr. Jack Daniels might have had something to do with that.  M’s dorky-ness put her in the top 3 of my favorite personalities I’ve shot so far.  She’s got an amazing head of hair too. It’s true.

Miss M, A beautiful mother of one, wasn’t a normal client of mine. I actually approached her at a party and showed her some of my work. Trying to convince her that I’m for real and not some weirdo with half-naked women in my iPhone. *well I am but this was different* I must have said something right.. or maybe she actually liked my work because she messaged the next day and said she wanted to book a session. 🙂 Ever since then I’ve been keeping my portfolio on my phone updated.

This shoot we kept it simple using a seamless grey backdrop. One Alienbee light while switching between a softbox and a white beauty dish. to give her something to do so that she wasn’t just standing there asking, “where do I put my hands?” a white window curtain from Bed Bath and Beyond was used as a prop.

I love this set, I said, “M play with your hair.”  She giggled and did what she does best…
